Zoltan Somogyi was a Mesan citizen and slaver.
He was the son of Angela Somogyi.
In 1922 PD, he served as commanding officer and manager of Balcescu Station, a space station and slave depot in the system of the same name. He was aware of the existence of the Mesan Alignment, but had no detailed knowledge of its nature.
When the Kingdom of Torch's miltiary conducted a raid on the station and the slaver vessels present there, Somogyi quickly surrendered and did his best to keep his crew from hurting any of the slaves they had on board, as he had been warned that a single dead slave would get him and all under his command summarily executed.
