William MacClintock was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Sphinx Forestry Service.
He was adopted by a treecat he named Dunatis. Holding the rank of Lieutenant General, he served as head of the Forestry Service Board during the visit of Crown Princess Adrienne in 140 AL.
He accompanied Princess Adrienne back to Mount Royal Palace after the assassination attempt on her to advise King Roger II on the SFS's newly expanded budget and on how to employ treecats as part of palace security. (HHA2.2: WPD)
