Weir was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Holding the rank of Ensign, she served as an Assistant Engineering Officer aboard the Q-ship HMAMC Wayfarer, and was in charge of Fusion Plant Two. She was killed when the section was hit by enemy fire during the Battle of the Selker Rift. (HH6)
