Todd Liatt was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Biography
While at the Royal Manticoran Naval Academy on Saganami Island, he was the roommate of Crown Prince Michael. He was the one informing the prince that he was to be assigned to the superdreadnought HMS Saint Elmo. (HHA4.1: PL)
Promoted to Lieutenant, Liatt and Prince Michael later served together aboard HMS Diadem, and became close friends. When the daughter of Michael's girlfriend, Judith Newland, was kidnapped by Manticoran isolationists, Liatt helped them save her. During that time, he also became close with Alice Ramsbottom.
