Headquarters[]

According HH13 their HQ was on Mesa. That's explains their strong connection with Mesan affairs. Liber posterior derogat liber anterior, but one more SC1 proofread is needed. --dotz (talk) 10:08, October 9, 2019 (UTC)

HH14 states that Technodyne did indeed have a presence on Mesa as one of their electives was a member of the General Board, but Mesa wasn't their headquarters.  The full name of Technodyne is Technodyne Industries of Yildun and other Honorverse source material clearly states that Technodyne was headquartered in Yildun.  In addition, Technodyne was a Solarian League company based in the League, not a single system independent star nations within the League's borders like Mesa. - DarkScribe (talk) 14:26, October 9, 2019 (UTC)
Mesan-Solly transstelar: HQ on Mesa, main facilities on Yildun and Ganymede. At least Technodyne Industries of Yildun can be some branch or a traditional name (still I didn't proofread CS1 and SI1). And again - the wrigter should have chance to correct himself, so a newer novel is more "canonic" than an older one. --dotz (talk) 22:10, October 9, 2019 (UTC)
In CS1 (1918-1919) and SI1 (1920-1921) we have TIY - a Solly corpo. But HH13-HH14 (1922-1923) - just Technodyne, with HQ on Mesa according HH13 and membership in the Mesan executive according to HH14 (wich would be a kind of singularity in case of foreign transstelar). There are at least three solutions to explain that stuff and avoid cognitive dissonance:
  • the wrigter should have chance to correct himself, and that's why:
  • it should be noticed - TIY's name is not identical with Technodyne's name (Mesa) (wich was probably wrighter's conscious thought) - the possible common sense answer - they were not identical due to legal/technical matters - for instance TIY was just a branch of Technodyne, Mesa
  • there is also somewhat crazy idea Technodyne's HQ was moved form Yildun to Mesa (eg. due to investogation), IMHO it sholuld be openy written in a novel however. --dotz (talk) 23:04, October 9, 2019 (UTC)

Reverting Edits[]

DarkScribe - when you delete over 600 bits of information please expalin yourself than.

It seems you have problem with inconsistency between CS1-SI1 and HH13-HH14. If you don't accept my way of description (the later book is more canonical), please depict inconsistency as an alternative CS1-SI1 vs HH13-HH14.

BTW: "TIY maintained a corporate headquarters on Mesa. (HH13)" is a false, while HH13 never mentions TIY (wich I wrote above). --dotz (talk) 19:56, October 20, 2019 (UTC)
