"Council of Elders"[]
There are some hints that the council was once called "Council of Elders", and its member were refered to as "Elders". - HH2?--dotz 22:04, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- These hints are more of the indirect kind, as I saw them: for example, those who originally destroyed the colony ship's technological components were refered to as First Elders, and Masada, wanting to stick to Austin Grayson's original way of running society, called their leadership "Council of Elders". From all this, we might assume that Elder was the original name of the councilmembers. -- SaganamiFan 10:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
- As I just looked up, HH5 refers to the "Church Elders" on several occasions, so it is quite possible the First Elders were members of the Sacristy. It is sometimes mentioned that Grayson was originally controlled directly by the Church... -- SaganamiFan 10:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
