TNS Denmark Vesey was a Nat Turner-class frigate of the Royal Torch Navy.
History[]
In the early 1920s PD, the ship was captained by Lieutenant Commander Tunni Bayano and assigned to the anti-slavery task force in the Hainuwele System.
In mid-1922 PD, the Denmark Vesey[1] took part in Operation Serket Breach, an attack on a slave depot in the Balcescu System. During the operation, the ship went after the slaver Luigi Pirandello, forcing its captain to strike his wedge and warning him that he and his entire crew would be executed if any harm should come to even one of the slaves aboard his ship.
Captain Brand complied and evacuated his crew, leaving the Luigi Pirandello to be taken over by Torch Marines; however, once the first Marines arrived, Mesan Alignment agent Seleven Arpino destroyed the ship, killing himself and everybody aboard, and removing any evidence of himself and the Alignment scientists he had been escorting. The Denmark Vesey in return opened fire on Captain Brandt's shuttles, killing him and his entire crew. (CS3)
