MaleSimon Mattingly was a Grayson citizen and an officer of the Harrington Steadholder's Guard.
Biography[]
In 1905 PD, Mattingly[1] held the rank of Corporal in the Harrington Guard. His older brother was part of the crew of GNS Saul and was killed at the Battle of Blackbird. (HH4)
After Havenite media reported Steadholder Harrington's execution, Mattingly refused to end his duty, standing Guard before her quarters as if she was to return soon. He was proven right, as the execution turned out to have been faked. (HH7)
Following Harrington's return from the Havenite prison planet Hades, he was promoted to Lieutenant. (HH9)
Mattingly was killed in 1920 PD, when Lieutenant Timothy Meares, manipulated by Mesan mind-control nanites, tried to shoot Admiral Harrington on the flag bridge of HMS Imperator. He was buried in space in the Trevor's Star System. (HH11)
