Simeon Gaddis was a Solarian citizen and an officer of the Solarian Gendarmerie.

Holding the rank of Brigadier General, he oversaw an investigation into corruption among senior League bureaucrats that ultimately led to the discovery of a number of Mesan Alignment agents in Old Chicago.
In January 1923 PD, he led the joint Gendarmerie/Navy team that arrested Innokentiy Kolokoltsov and the other Mandarins. (HH14)
