Alex Simak was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps.
Holding the rank of Colonel, he was in command of the Marine troops in Cruiser Squadron 94. During the Manticoran military intervention in the Mobius System, he oversaw the rescue of 30,000 civilians from President Lombroso Memorial Soccer Stadium, held there by the Solarian Gendarmerie. (HH14)
