Rock lobster

Rock lobsters were a family of about 45 species of achelate crustaceans. Like true lobsters, spiny lobsters were edible and were an economically significant food source; they were the biggest food export of the Bahamas on Earth in the Ante Diaspora era.

Around 1920 PD, Evelina Detweiler had brought a new cook to her and her husband Albrecht's household on Mesa, who could do something amazing with Terran rock lobster. (HH11)
