Richard "TJ" Wix was a Manticoran citizen and astrophysicist.

As Dr. Jordin Kare's chief assistant at the Royal Manticoran Astrophysics Investigation Agency, he had a reputation for hard partying and was nicknamed "Tons of Joy Bear", usually shortened to TJ. He possessed a unique intuitive skill that helped pin down the mathematics to find the seventh terminus of the Manticore Wormhole Junction. (HH10)
