RMMS Mondragon was a freighter of Manticoran registry owned by the Hauptman Cartel.
The ship's official mass was four and a half million tons. In 1900 PD, Mondragon was caught illegally transporting Kodiak Max pelts at Medusa by Ensign Prescott Tremaine of the light cruiser HMS Fearless. Overruling protests by Klaus Hauptman, the Admiralty Court ruled in favor of Fearless, impounding the vessel. The money from her sale made Captain Honor Harrington a millionaire. (HH1)
