Panowski was a Manticoran citizen and an officer in the Royal Manticoran Navy.
In 1900 PD, Panowski held the rank of Lieutenant and served as assistant astrogator of the light cruiser HMS Fearless during the ship's mission in the Basilisk System. When Lieutenant Maxwell Stromboli was assigned to the RMN team on the planet Medusa, Panowski took over as astrogator.
He was killed in the First Battle of Basilisk, when he was decapitated on the bridge by flying shrapnel. (HH1)
