Operation Stalking Horse was a naval operation of the People's Navy in 1907 PD.

Operational premise[]

The idea for Stalking Horse was conceived by Admiral Alexander Thurston. He and his staff designed a plan to capture the Candor and the Minette System, but more importantly, to draw attention away from Yeltsin's Star and Endicott, where Operation Dagger was to strike. (HH5)

Conduct[]

As part of the operation, Task Force 30 under the command of Vice Admiral Esther McQueen drove Vice Admiral Ludwig Stanton's Task Force Minette-01 out of Minette during the First Battle of Minette.[1]

The Candor System was also captured by a Havenite force, making Stalking Horse a success, while the follow-up Operation Dagger turned into a disaster for Haven in the Fourth Battle of Yeltsin's Star. (HH5)
