Michaelson Steading was a Grayson steading, or feudal province.
In 1907 PD, the ruling Steadholder Michaelson was one of the first to join Lords Mueller and Burdette in opposition to both the reforms of Protector Benjamin IX and Honor Harrington's admission to the Conclave of Steadholders. (HH5)
