The Mesan Planetary Peaceforce, or MPP, was a military security force on the planet Mesa.
Duties[]
The main reason for the MPP existence was to respond to threats of seccy or slave unrest before they turned into genuine rebellion. It was the most heavily armed of the three Mesan paramilitary security units, followed by the Mesan Internal Security Directorate and the Office of Public Safety. (CS3)
Organization[]
In 1922 PD, the senior uniformed officer of the MPP was General Caspar Alpina, who answered directly to CEO Ward under the Mesan constitution.
The basic formation of the MPP was the brigade. The MPP possessed a total strength of little more than thirty-two thousand troops, divided into about twelve brigades. Eight of those brigades participated in Operation Rat Catcher, including the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. A part of the MPP were also heavy assault companies that were equipped with full battle armor suits. (CS3)
