Lady Maralise Kemeny was a Manticoran peer of the realm.

Her father, Willis Kemeny, 9th Earl of Howell, was a member of the cabal that resulted in King Roger III's assassination. After they were unmasked, Queen Elizabeth III forced him to renounce his seat in the House of Lords in favor of Maralise. (HHA2.3: QG)
