It was a hybrid design, capable of short "sprints" on countergrav, with conventional treads for stability and long distance travel. Variants included the M11A2, the most common version.
Its primary weapon was a 120 mm plasma cannon, supported by a remote tribarrel pulser for anti-infantry defense and an automated point defense turret to ward off incoming projectiles and missiles. An active and passive ECM suite was used to defeat enemy target locks and guided projectiles.
Forward scouting was performed by onboard countergrav reconnaissance drones.
