Kopp was a Grayson citizen and an enlisted spacer of the Grayson Space Navy.
He served as a Senior Missile Technician aboard the heavy cruiser GNS Francis Mueller. When Sick Berth Attendant Sean Tyler joined the ship's company, Kopp had already been "tranked" due to situational stress disorder six times.
