Biography[]
He earned an impressive number of awards during his career. In 1904 PD, he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and he served as the commander of the Ninth Battalion, RMMC, the marine complement aboard the newly commssioned battlecruiser HMS Nike. (HH3)
In 1905 PD, he was killed in action during the First Battle of Hancock, along with his executive officer. (HH4)
