Judaism (from Hebrew יהודה, ehudah, "Judah") was a human religion.
History and influence[]
It was a set of beliefs and practices originating in the Hebrew Bible, or Tanakh, as later further explored and explained in the Talmud and other texts. Judaism presents itself as the covenantal relationship between the Children of Israel (later, the Jewish nation) and God. As such, many considered it the first monotheistic religion.
Many aspects of Judaism corresponded to Western concepts of ethics and civil law. Judaism was among the oldest religious traditions still being practised in the Post Diaspora era, and many of its texts and traditions were central to other Abrahamic religions. As such, Jewish history and the principles and ethics of Judaism influenced various other religions, including Christianity and Islam.

Autentico Judaism[]
Autentico Judaism was the fastest growing branch of the religion in the PD era. Most orthodox branches refused to accept it primarily because it proselytized. It was most acceptable to the most downtrodden people. (CS1)
