Ingeborg Aberu was a Solarian citizen and an officer of the Solarian League Navy's Battle Fleet.
Biography[]
Holding the rank of Captain, she served as Task Group 3021's staff operations officer. A paper called A Preliminary Appreciation of Potential Technology Advances of the Royal Manticoran Navy, written by Lieutenant Maitland Askew, somehow found its way into Aberu's hands. She was not impressed by it, and characterized Askew as alarmist, credulous, ignorant, incompetent, and "obviously not to be trusted with any significant independent analysis."[1]
Captain Aberu was killed when Admiral Byng's flagship, the battlecruiser SLNS Jean Bart, was destroyed by the Royal Manticoran Navy in the Second Battle of New Tuscany. (SI2)
