Hayman was a Havenite citizen and a non-commissioned officer of the State Security Ground Forces.
Holding the rank of Corporal[1], he served as a brig guard aboard the battlecruiser PNS Tepes. He was killed during the escape of Honor Harrington and her fellow prisoners from the ship. (HH7)
