The assassination of Hereditary President Sidney Harris took place in the city of Nouveau Paris on the planet Haven in 1905 PD.

Harris, his cabinet and their families were killed during his birthday celebrations in the Presidential residence with an air strike by shuttles of the Havenite Navy. The Committee of Public Safety under Robert Pierre then seized power over the city and took control of the government. (HH3)
