HMS King William was the lead ship of the eponymous class of superdreadnoughts built and used by the Royal Manticoran Navy.
She was named after King William I, the ninth reigning monarch of the Star Kingdom of Manticore. The crew nicknamed her "Billy Boy".
In 1913 PD, the ship served as Vice Admiral Silas Markham's flagship for the picket force covering the Basilisk System. She was lost at the Second Battle of Basilisk. (HH8, HH10)
