HMS Cutlass was a Broadsword-class heavy cruiser of the Royal Manticoran Navy in service by 1890 PD.
Cutlass assisted rescue efforts during the Attica Avalanche that struck Gryphon in 1890 PD. In concert with its sister ships, HMS Broadsword and HMS Halberd, Cutlass, which had been involved in the testing of the Mark 26 Skyhawk-class pinnace nearby, provided Search and Rescue support during the aftermath of the avalanche.
