Guangfu Gortz was an Andermani citizen and an officer of the Imperial Andermani Navy.
Biography[]
He had an intense hatred of the Star Kingdom of Manticore.
Around 1919 PD, he held the rank of Kapitän der Sterne and was in command of the heavy cruiser IANS Hellbarde. His ship shadowed the Manticoran heavy cruiser HMS Jessica Epps, conducting a number of subtle provocations against it.
When Jessica Epps ordered a ship falsely transmitting an Andermani transponder code to stop in the Zoraster System, Gortz had Hellebarde open fire on the Manticoran. In the following engagement, Käpitan Gortz's vessel was pounded into a wreck, killing Gortz and most of his bridge crew, while Jessica Epps was destroyed with all hands. (HH10)
