GNS Jason Alvarez was the lead ship of the eponymous class of heavy cruisers of the Grayson Space Navy.

History Edit

At the time of its commission in 1904 PD, Jason Alvarez (named after the Manticoran officer of the same name who died in defense of Grayson) was the most powerful starship ever built in the Yeltsin's Star System, but only until the battlecruisers Raoul Courvosier and Yanakov were commisioned. Under the command of Captain Thomas Greentree, the vessel served as Commodore Honor Harrington's flagship for Cruiser Squadron 18. (HH7)
