The Freedom Alliance of Kornati, or FAK, was a Kornatian seperatist group that used terrorist means to fight the annexation of Kornati and the Talbott Cluster by Manticore. They were offered military supplies by Damien Harahap.
The FAK was founded and led by Agnes Nordbrandt while a member of the Kornatian Parliament. Their initial operations included the organization of their network and building operational and training bases. Around the same time, Nordbrandt resigned from Parliament in protest of Kornati's decision to participate in the Constitutional Convention on Flax.
Their first act of terrorism was the planning and execution of the Karlovac terror attacks.
Unlike the contemporary Montana Independence Movement, the FAK sought to maximize the number of fatalities from its attacks. This caused much anger among the Kornatian public and others in the Cluster, and the revelation that both the FAK and MIM were sponsored by the same person contributed to driving a wedge between the FAK and MIM leader Stephen Westman.
