A sandwich
A sandwich was type of food item consisting of two or more slices of bread with one or more fillings between them that originated on Earth. It was brought to colonies like Manticore, and became a popular meal.
In 1903 PD, Captain Honor Harrington ordered sandwiches and a pot of Cocoa for her bridge on the HMS Fearless prior to the Second Battle of Yeltsin's Star. (HH2)
