PR18 schematic
The PR18 was a pulse rifle devoloped for use by the Grayson Army in the early 20th Century PD.
Like the Grayson Space Navy, the Army used mainly Manticoran equipment in the early days of the Alliance. When relations with the Manticoran High Ridge government soured during the interregnum (1915-1920 PD), the Graysons began to devolop their own pulse rifle, which was designed to be compatible with Alliance dart magazines and power cells.
The PR-18's design was similar to the Army's pre-alliance standard rifle. Its widespread distribution was delayed because of the outbreak of the Second Havenite War. (Companion)
