The Monarch's Cross for Bravery (called King's Cross or Queen's Cross depending on the gender of the monarch at the time of presentation) was the highest decoration in the Star Kingdom and Star Empire of Manticore awarded for bravery not in the face of the enemy or in combat.
It was only a notch below the Parliamentary Medal of Valor, its combat equivalent. Its ribbon was a dark green field. (Companion)
