Farragut, known as Far Climber among his own kind, was a Sphinxian treecat of the Bright Water Clan.
Named by Honor Harrington[1], he was among those who migrated to Grayson. Once in Harrington Steading, he bonded with Miranda LaFollet, becoming the first treecat to adopt a Grayson citizen. (HH7)
Farragut, along with Miranda, was among those who died on Sphinx as a result of the debris that hit the planet in and around Yawata Crossing after the destruction of HMSS Vulcan during Operation Oyster Bay. (HH12)
