Evgeny Markiewicz was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps.
He enlisted in the Corps in 1902 PD. Over the next eighteen years, he earned an officer's commission. Holding the rank of Major, he served as Commanding Officer of the Marine detachment aboard the battlecruiser HMS Rigel. (HH12)
