Cruiser Squadron 17 was a tactical unit of the Royal Manticoran Navy. As part of Task Force Hancock, it was designated to be a heavy cruiser screening element for Battlecruiser Squadron 5.

Staff[]
The only known member of the staff was Commander Arthur Houseman, the chief of staff, killed during the First Battle of Hancock. (HH3)
Organization[]
The squadron reached its full strength prior to First Hancock, when it was supported with HMS Warlock.[1] During the battle, some divisions were mentioned - very likely Captain Pavel Young, as second in command of the squadron, was in charge of one of them. (HH3)
