Crown Reserve was the collective name for all resources and Lands of the Star Kingdom and Star Empire of Manticore belonging to the Crown itself.
The monarch could create new territorial peerages out of the Reserve, like Elizabeth III did with both the Earldom and Duchy of Harrington. Still, the Reserve also included resources like mining rights for asteroid fields, or broadcasting rights for certain transponder bands. (HH8, HH9, "House of Steel")
