Carl von Clausewitz

Carl Philipp Gottlieb von Clausewitz was an inhabitant of Earth during the Napoleonic Era. He was a professional soldier, military philosopher and writer. His most famous book was On War.

His quotes included "War was the continuation of diplomacy through non-diplomatic means." and "Politics is the womb in which war is developed."

In 1903 PD, he was quoted by Reginald Houseman, and identified, to Houseman's surprise, by Captain Honor Harrington. (HH2)
