The Battle of Squalus and the Battle of Hallman were battles of the Second Havenite-Manticoran War between task forces of the Royal Manticoran Navy's Eighth Fleet and the system pickets of the Squalus System and the Hallman System in the Republic of Haven, when both Squalus and Hallman were selected by the RMN for deep raids as part of Operation Cutworm.
Order of Battle[]
RMN[]
The only units that were not positively assigned to other Cutworm objectives[1] were:
- two divisions of CLAC Squadron 3
- Battlecruiser Squadron 32, CO Rear Admiral Hirotaka Matsuzawa
- two divisions of Cruiser Squadron 12[2]
- Light Cruiser Flotilla 18, CO Commodore Mary Lou Moreau
Task forces of the Eighth Fleet involved could have consisted of destroyer recon elements as well. (HH11)
RHN[]
The Squalus System Defense Command and the Hallman System Defense Command consisted of some LAC elements. Together with the Tambourin System Defense Command, they were comprised of four old-style cruisers, three destroyers and around six hundred LACs.[3] (HH11)
Aftermath[]
The Royal Manticoran Navy eliminated every piece of orbital infrastructure in both systems and destroyed both system pickets. (HH11)
