The Battles of Chelsea and Mendoza were armed engagements between Royal Manticoran Navy forces, commanded by Admiral White Haven, and People's Navy forces during the Allied Counteroffensive of 1905. (HH3, HH4)
Prelude
After the assassination of Hereditary President Sidney Harris, in the opening days of the First Havenite-Manticoran War, the Star Kingdom of Manticore launched an offensive operation to seize a number of tactically relevant systems in the space between itself and the People's Republic of Haven.
Course of battles
The course of the Battle of Mendoza is unknown. According to Admiral White Haven, the Chelsea System was seized by him without a shot being fired (it is not certain however, if the Havenite forces withdrew or capitulated).
Aftermath
With the lose of Chelsea and Mendoza, the Zanzibar Liberation Front lost its safe bases and did not resurface. Neither system was mentioned later on in the course of the war, so both systems most likely became insignificant rear areas.
