Avshari was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Biography[]
Holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, he served as Communications Officer of the dreadnought HMS Bellerophon, on patrol duty in the Talbot System in 1904 PD.
He was the officer of the watch when the People's Navy's Battlecruiser Divisions 141 and 142 under the command of Rear Admiral Edward Pierre entered Talbot. Avshari had very limited tactical experience, but still managed to turn his ship's sidewalls towards the enemy. When the Havenites opened fire, causing minor damage to Bellerophon's hull, he instructed Lieutenant Arlene Wolversham, the Tactical Officer, to return fire. Bellerophon fired only one salvo, destroying all enemy ships at once. (HH3)
