Artemis was a Sphinxian treecat of the Bright Water Clan.
She was one of the group of 'cats that migrated to Grayson in 1911 PD. Honor Harrington named her in an attempt to match personality with name, even though she remained unbonded to a human.[1] (HH7)
She later mated with Hood and give birth to a litter of treekittens. One of whom was named Poseidon. (CS4)
