Anson Hewitt

Anson Hewitt was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.

Biography[]

Holding the rank of Rear Admiral, he was the commanding officer of Task Force Sidemore and Senior Officer, Sidemore Station, in the period before the resumption of hostilities and the beginning of the Second Havenite-Manticoran War. First Space Lord Simon Chakrabarti considered him far too junior for the assignment.

Hewitt insisted on a heightened state of readiness for Sidemore Station; all military vessels' parking orbits were carefully arranged to avoid wedge interference if they had bring up their impellers quickly. Still, he was happy when he was relieved of overall command by Admiral Honor Harrington. (HH10)
