Alfred Woodburn was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, he served as tactical officer of the light cruiser HMS Casey. He was in charge of training Lieutenant Travis Long, who considered him a much more fair and capable teacher than the officers he served under before. (HHA6.2: ACTA)
